Arc Flash Testing
Skellerup Quatro® Dielectric boots have been tested for arc flash protection using ASTM F2621 and IEC 61482-1-1 Method B, resulting in no ignition, melting, or dripping at 40cal/cm2.
After testing at 40cal/cm2, Skellerup Quatro® Dielectric boots showed no sign of energy transfer inside the boot and did not melt, drip, ignite or exhibit after-flame, during or after the exposure.
Yellow dielectric boots are being phased out and replaced with gray boots. Testing results still apply.

FQD8 Series
Skellerup Quatro® Dielectric Regular Boot features a unique, puncture-resistant outsole made from insulating, abrasion and cut-resistant vulcanized rubber. The SureGrip 360° forefront and heel pad mud releasing design allows for top-of-the-line grip, comfort and arch support.

Electrical Testing
Every Skellerup boot is tested after manufacture at 20kV for 3 minutes per ASTM F1116 and certified to ASTM F1117. Each Skellerup dielectric boot carries a unique and traceable serial number for PPE management and control.
